all that glitters...
so yesterday I created a look that many of you were asking how I achieved it. This look is pretty easy to create but can be pretty messy if you are a beginner with makeup or don't have a good steady hand... which is OK!!
Here are the simple steps to achieving this look:
1. prime the eyelid with a eyeshadow base (for this look I used my MAC concealer in nc20
2. apply a highlight color under the eyebrow (I used vanilla from MAC)
3.apply a light coral color in the crease of your eye and blend upwards towards the brow
4.apply a light brown color on the crease and blend with the coral color (I used cork from MAC)
5.apply a dark brown on the edge of the eye and blend into the crease (I used brown script from MAC)
6.apply a black eyeshadow at the outer edge of your eye and blend (I used carbon by MAC)
7.then with a clean blending brush, apply more and blend the light coral color on the crease in a upward
motion to soften up the look
8. then take the dark brown color and apply it to the bottom lash line and blend until you have a smokey effect
9.take a liquid eyeliner and give your self a cateye shaped liner (I used NYX liquid liner in black)
10.take a darkbrown eyeliner pencil and line the bottom waterline of your eye (I used teddy by MAC)
11. Take a mixing medium (I used mixing medium by MAC) or use a fix spray and apply it to a flat/concealer eyeshadow brush and apply it ONLY to the lid.. do not get it in your crease
12. Take your glitter with the same brush and apply it onto the area you put the mixing medium in, if you are using the fix spray , spray the fix spray onto the brush and then dip onto the glitter. Pack on the product as many times as needed
13. Take a black color mascara and apply to top and bottom lashes (I used makeup forever smokey eye mascara in black)
14. Take your eyelash glue and apply a small amount to the back of your hand (I used DUO eyeshadow glue in dark tone)
15. Then take your lashes and swipe your eyelash band across the glue and let it dry for 30 seconds(I used glamprincessxoxo lashes in bad gal available at shopglamprincess.com
16. Take your lashes and apply it on your eyelid starting close to your eye duct and let dry
*if any glitter has been exposed to other parts of your face, just take a makeup wipe and remove
**dark/dramatic eyebrows work for this look and a nude/light pink lip

The best of the best ... Beauty products for Fab hair
So these are my FAVORITE hair products this fall.. they are both a mixture of inexpensive products and some that are actually pretty pricey.
*= rating for that specific product
so here's the list of these beauty must haves:
**Garnier Fuctris Style Flat Iron protecter = used before you use any hot tool to protect your hair against heat and gives you a nice straight and defined look
*** Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition = beauty must have! this is one of my high rarted items. It leaves your hair soft and managable. I put this product in my hair while showering and leave it on for about 5-10 mins. I lather the product on my ends and work the product up.
(do not put on scalp or apply it to close to your scalp ... It can cause your hair to look flat/oily.)
*****Aussie hair spray= this is the BEST hairspray in my opinion. I usually have my hair up during the week to avoid a lot of damage from Hot Tools because I have naturally curly, frizzy, and fine hair. It works great and wont leave you any hard or flaky hair.... and you can also re-style your hair later on without needing to wash your hair.
*****Paul mitchell Smoothing serum : by far the Best hair product out there. It smells so good and does exactly what its supposed too. This product is def worth every penny. A must have for your hair.
***moroccan oil: this product is really good but I believe that the price is way to much. I would def stick with paul mitchell on this one.. but if you have the $$ this can also be a nice addition to your beauty products.
**BIG SEXY HAIR: this product is not for a look that you would like to re style later or would like for a
"playful" look. I recommend this hairspray for when you leave your hair down or do an up do that you will not be messing with it later. It holds really good but can leave your hair flaky if you mess with it after you have distributed onto your hair.
so these are my beauty faves for now.. hope this helps.
